show title in recent posts widget

I need the plugin to hide the title of custom post type issuem_article so it doesn’t appear both above the featured image and then below it again (where I want it). The plugin works very well at this however, the article’s title remains hidden in the recent posts widget where I need it, or something, to click on. Basically, I need to enable a hidden title to be shown in the recent posts widget. Any suggestions– bear in mind I’m still a noob at this.
