Show the latest post from different accounts.

    Hi, I’ve a feed with 12 images into two rows from 4 different accounts, so it’s 3 images per account. However, some of the accounts have not uploaded for a long time while other is very regularly. So I wonder if it’s possible to show ‘the latest 12′(in my case) images regardless from what account. So the feed will only have the latest, so if you have an account that don’t upload that often, they will not be seen if they don’t upload regularly.

    Currently you can only pick how many images Per account. You will get the latest images Per account, but I want The latest, even if that would mean that only one account would be seen.

    Is there any way to adjust this? Check the Pro features but doesn’t seems to be there. Any hack I can use?

    Hey MrJane,

    We actually do have the ability to show multiple user accounts in a single feed, sorted by post date. So the “Pro” version has this feature that you need.

    Otherwise it would involve setting up multiple feeds on a page and then using javascript to combine them, sort them by their post date, and then trimming the extras. It’s a little beyond a quick snippet we could whip up for you but it could be done.

    Hi, thanks for answering.

    I’ll take a look at this, maybe even better to make all 4 feed show 12 photos and then therefor I’ll filter and remove the other 36 photos I don’t need? Then I don’t need to sort them by date ‘n stuff?

    Yes I think you have the general idea. We’ve had other people do this successfully so if you are handy with javascript, you can likely find something that will work well for you.
