Show the actual latest post from all blogs

Hi,

I want to use this to show the latest posts on all my subdirectories in one block. However, it seems to show it section by section. For example, it shows the pregnancy and parenting posts first, then the blog ones, then the recipes, regardless of which is the latest post made. I would like it to show the latest from across the whole site.

Not sure I’m explaining this very well, sorry!

You can see what I’ve done here: https://www.essexmums.com and that it seems to show a chunk of the pregnancy and parenting articles first even though they are not the newest. The newest post is one called ‘test post’ which actually appears a long way down the page.

IS there anything I can do to change this order?
