    Hello Chris,

    Great plugin!
I was wondering, is it possible to show the slug of the tag in the editor instead of the name? In this case, I’ve got the same tags (‘support’, ‘change management’, ‘integration’ etc.) in two different tag groups (‘business’ and ‘education’). Whenever I’m making a blog post and I want to tag it in Support for Business, I just see ‘support’ twice in the list, without knowing if that one is for Business or Education.

I’m using these names as filters in a portfolio, so I’d rather not have ‘Support for Business’ and ‘Support for Education’ as titles.

I really hope I made myself clear and that you’ve got a solution for me.

    Thanks!
    Milou

  • Hi Milou,

This is not possible with the free version of the plugin. In the premium version you can use the same tag in more than one tag group and you have a tag box on the post edit screen where you see the tags inside their groups.

Using exactly the same tag name for two different tags can lead to problems because sometimes tags are identified by their names. So the software wouldn’t know which one it is dealing with. The only solution I am aware of for the free plugin is to add something to the name, like “palm (hand)” and “palm (tree)”.
