Show statistics

We would be interested in statistics of the plugin. The most interesting question is how much disk space have we saved with the plugin. Is there any way to see it yet? If not, seeing this for example in or near the Plugin Status section of the settings page would be a delight.

Other information like processing time spent could be a neat addition.
