Show shipping method only when no other is available ?

    Is it possible (plugin recommendation?), to only show a specific shipping method, when none of the other configured shipping methods would work ? Basically show a kind of backup shipping method instead of getting the “no shipping methods available” message.
    We are using both Royal Mail and UPS for international shipping. The idea is to use Royal Mail by default, and switch to UPS once the Royal Mail plugin does not return any available shipping options anymore.

    Yes, it is indeed possible to set up a fallback shipping method using plugins. The WooCommerce Advanced Shipping Packages plugin could be a perfect solution for your needs. It allows you to create separate packages, each with its own shipping methods.

    In your case, you could set up Royal Mail as the default method in one package and UPS in another. If Royal Mail is unavailable, the plugin automatically moves to the following package, thus showing UPS as the shipping option.
