I have hardcoded the php into my header and it works FANTASTICALLY on the main site of my multi site install. The plugin only pulls the slider content from a single slider ID created at that blog, so the ID is invalid on the other sites in the network using the same theme.

How do I make a slider created at the main site display on member sites?

Since each site in MultiSite is its own individual install, there is no way to automatically add the slider to each new install. You would need to run a switch_to_blog and restore_current_blog block to show the slider from that main install or export/import the slider into each new site.

I ended up creating child themes for my sub-blogs and creating new sliders for each site. It ends up giving us more control over the content shown on each site, but less ease of management.

Thank you for your response, Thomas!

No problem! If you dig the plugin, I’d love a 5-star review to help better get the word out to others. ??
