Show recurrring event temporarily canceled

    Hi,
    This is a GREAT plugin!

    I was wondering what would be the procedure if a recurring event was to be temporarily canceled for any reason. An example would be that use of the room was blocked for another purpose for that day alone and after that date the schedule would revert to normal recurring.

  • Currently there is no good way to handle this. All I can suggest is adding another event for the day stating the recurring event is cancelled for the day. This would probably be a good future enhancement.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the workaround suggestion. Yeah, being able to break into recurring events to make a temporary change would be VERY useful feature because there is always rain etc.

    The way we’ve dealt with this is to just announce the change above your very terse and powerful short code and left the schedule alone.

    Again, GREAT plugin!
