Show random post in the slider

Hello,
It’s posible to show random post in the slider?. I mean, not the latest ones nor the most popular.
For example, if i put a slider to filter to all the post from the categiry “x” and to only show 4 slides. It posible to have those 4 slides randomly from all the “X” category posts?
