    Hi AndieDK,

Thank you very much for your post and for using ATUM.

Would you be so kind and give me a real example of this feature, please?
Locations were originally designed to be internal feature. I am sure we can think of this, however, I would need an example so we can explore possibilities.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Best Regards,

    Hi AndieDK,

    Thank you for the screenshot.

So you need this in the backend admin? Is this needed for a manual order creation?

    Hi Pavel,

Actually i wantet it on the printed invoice, you can make with the plugin “WooCommerce Print Invoice & Delivery Note” for each order. But i also want it on the admin order page. Its not needed for manual order creation but for the orders the cutomers place in my shop.

    Hi A,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I am very sorry, but this is something we can’t do. This invoice plugin is 3rd party WC paid plugin. We don’t plan to support it as we are working on our own invoicing feature already.

Regarding the admin order page, what is the main reason you need it there, please? Is this for your staff to know where to locate the product to complete the order?

Arh okay, i could also be nice with your feature!

I do not use the location like an different city or place, but I uses it to write which shelf the product is on in our warehouse. In the admin ordre page i don’t really need it, but if it are there i think i bette could code it to the invoice. ??

    Hi AndieDK,

Thank you very much for the info.

Yes, that is a good way of working and this was the reason why we have named it locations. You can actually pinpoint the place you are keeping the product (Warehouse – Raw – Shelf – Box or similar structure).

Regarding the invoice, I am not sure if it would be a best practice for most users. Is the idea for your customers to see the location? Our idea was to add the information to orders and packing slips so the shop owner knows right away where to locate the product to speed up the dispatch.

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi

I can not find this “Warehouse – Raw – Shelf Box”? Is it in the Products -> Locations menu?

It’s not relevant to the customer, but I have no problem with the customer can see it. Then we don’t have to print invoice and a packing slip

    Hi AndieDK,

Thank you very much for your reply.

I am sorry for confusing you. It was meant as an example. Locations work as categories. You need to create the location tree. Here is how:

    1. Create main location (in our example Warehouse)
    2. Create sub location 1 (in our example Raw within the warehouse)
    3. Create another sub location 2 within the sub location 1 (in our example Sheft Box).

In your product edit screen you add the sub location 2 as the location of the product.

We will consider your request for having the location on the invoice, however, we are adding it to the order page in the next update.

    Hope it helps.

    Hello.
The truth that this plugin has been very useful to me. What I hope with enthusiasm is, when will the function for multiple stores be ready? At the moment it only serves as a text, but there is no control of quantities for each one (at least as far as I know). Thank you very much and congratulations for your work.

    Hi aaron1986,

Thank you very much for your post. I am glad you find the plugin useful.

May I ask what you mean multiple store, please? Would you have an example?
Does it refer to the conversation above?

Hope to hear from you soon.

    Best Regards,

    Pavel

Hello, I mean the locations, when will it be available? because at the moment I can not enter what stock I have in different stores, I can only enter the stock of a single store

    Hi aaron1986,

Thank you very much for clarification.

This feature will be included within a premium add-on. It is a complex development. The plan is to start with its development March/April next year. But, please, do know this is just an estimated time and delays in this industry are very likely.

We are launching forum and a blog very soon and all the new features will get discussed there. Users will be able to see features in details too.

    I hope this helps.

    Pavel
