Show posts of certain category on the front page for a certain period of time

Hi, it’s been a while since I last visited the forum!

Currently, I have an “Aside” category which is styled differently from ordinary posts, and it (the asides) acts more like announcement on my site thus I want this aside post(s) to disappear from my front page after a week it is posted. Is this possible?
