Other than that, since it is likely than no one else is using your function, I can’t see how anyone could help?

There are many solutions to displaying content on the main page. Check out “posts_per_page” attribute of The Loop.

You probably are not using the loop, my guess.

I wrote a function for get posts from all sites in wordpress mu and use it in archive page of main site for show all of the posts from all sites but i have a problem with paginate and 404 error in archive page!

I use Donncha’s Sitewide Tags plugin to aggregate all network posts in the main blog. The aggregating is done each time any site has a post saved. This way all network posts are pushed and already waiting in the database of one site when visiting the main blog

The benefit is that all the usual archives, category pages, search, tags pages, feeds, widgets etc on the main blog just work. Not a tonne of tinkering to do – once you get it up and running (which is also just a couple of clicks).

I don’t want import posts to main sites! i just want use them in main sites with their addresses.

Thats what that plugin does.

The site wide tags plugin adds bog_id to the guid in postmeta which can be really useful for coding other ways of sorting posts on the main site.

All permalinks of any posts on the main page point back to their originating blog. And updates to posts are automagically pushed to the main front page.

I offer this as a solution to your original request: “i paginate main archive and go to page 2 and more, show me 404 page!!”
