Show Post Excerpt in List tickbox not saving

    Hi,

    I’ve just updated to version 2.0.0 and I’m having problems with excerpts showing in the output.

    I’ve ticked the “Show Post Excerpt in List” tick box in the settings, but when I save the options, the tick box clears.

    I didn’t have this problem with the previous version so is this a bug in version 2.0.0 or is there something new I need to do?

    I’d like my context related posts to be in a list; a thumbnail with the post excerpt as well and not just a thumbnail as it is here.

    OK I posted this question too quickly…I saw that the new default style automatically switches off the displaying excerpts option, so when I disabled the default style my excerpts came back.

    But…it’s an ugly list, so I’ve used the CSS code very very kindly provided by Kevin is this post:

    and now everything’s how I’d like it! ??

    You can also check out the default styles that I have included in default-style.css that I use to create the good looking list.

    However, note that this doesn’t support the excerpts.

    Hi Ajay,

    Many thanks for your quick reply!

    I’ve just copied your CSS from the above link into the custom CSS box at the bottom of the plugin settings and it looks great…and it shows the excerpts too which I’m really happy with! ??

    I’m really no CSS expert, but I’m going to stick with your style over Kevin’s as yours has rounded corners instead of square boxes in the output.

    Thanks for confirming this ??

    Kevin had an excellent style that pointed me to testing out the rounded corners. I’m working on a few more styles that would find it’s way into an extension for the plugin. This might most likely be a paid one though.
