Show Post Content

I have it set so that I have a static front page and then a widget with the post categories off the side. When I click on the post category that I want to view, it shows a page with all of the posts, but it is not showing the full post. Instead, it shows part of the post and has a button that says “read more”. I’ve already gone into the customizer settings and clicked the option to show all of the post content, but it is still showing an abbreviated version of the post unless you click “read more”.
