Show post category

  • Hi!

    First of all, great plugin! I’d like to know if it’s possible to also show the category of the post in the Masonry Layout? I can only see that it’s possible to check in the admin panel to check if you want to show author or comments, but not categories.

    Can it be fixed with a shortcode like “show_category=yes” or something like that?

    you can use shortcode [simple_masonry sm_category_name=”catergory_slug”]. For example if catergory_slug is travel, shortcode will be [simple_masonry sm_category_name=”travel”]

    Yes I know, but in that case it will only show posts which is in the category “Travel” right?

    That’s not what I need – I want to show all posts, and under the title I want to show the category as well.

    For example:

    [featured image]
    Title: Go to Barcelona
    Category: Travel

    [featured image]
    Title: The best restaurant in Milano
    Category: Food

    etc etc. Does it make sense?

    Yeah, I got it. This feature is not available yet.surely, will consider it in new updates.
