Show popup after user read a predefined number of articles

    We’re building a subscription site (something like newyorker.com) where we would like to give the user the ability to read some articles for free (a predefined number of articles we’ve set from the admin, say 6 free articles) and when the user reads the first 3 then a popup will be displayed saying: Hey, you read half of what is free for this month. Subscribe to read any article, or continue to read the last 3 free articles for this month.

    I saw you have lots of triggers, but I don’t know if what I describe is doable.
