show or hide comments option missing

    Howdy all,
    I have the free version of Vantage (I plan to go premium if it can do all the things I need it to do). One issue I can’t seem to figure out is why I do not have the option of turning on or off the comments/replies on each page, post, etc. With previous themes on other sites, I recall seeing an option on the admin view of each page & post that allowed me to turn the ability for replies and comments on and off. That option is missing here and I’m unsure if it’s a theme design/bug or if its how the latest wordpress (3.8.1) works now.
    Anyone know the solution?

    Please ignore this request. Apparently the option for me to view this in the dashboard was off.
    For anyone with a similar issue, go to your post or page via the dashboard and in the upper right corner click on SCREEN OPTIONS. If DISCUSSIONS is not selected, select it. This will open the DISCUSSIONS options panel below the body of your page so now you can turn on or off comments and trackbacks/pings on that particular page.
