Show only parent products for another feed

    We work with sales of variable products. We are synchronizing our products with another platform (Not Google Merchant or Meta).

    On this other platform, we do not need to send the variations. We only need to send the parent product. The customer will click on the product and will be directed to our website.

    We saw the option of leaving a default variation, but it doesn’t work for us because if this variation is out of stock, all other numbers will be unavailable.

    This platform needs to receive an xml just with the product title, link to our website, description, photos and price.

    Is there any way to send only the parent product and the price to the xml?

    I don’t think that’s possible to implement. The parent product of the variables does not contain any price.

    Right now, the way around this is to use the include default variation. For the issues with the product having no stock, you can change the default variation to one that’s in stock:Screenshot by Lightshot (prnt.sc)
