Is it possible to show only the selected category and its childs?
The shortcode is in a template, can be loaded from multiple categories, so I selected to add automatically all the available categories.

But If I have a hierarchy like:

    – Spring/summer
    — Man
    — T-shirt
    — Hoodie
    — Woman
    — T-shirt
    — Hoodie

If I am in the category page “Spring/summer”, it is ok to show everything, but if I’m in “Man”, I should not see “Woman”.

Is it possible to hide it, or at leas to create a function to add a “selected” class to the item corresponding to the page category, so to hide the others by css?

    Thanks

    Hi there,
the problem may be how the shortcode is loading the template. usually the plugin shows exactly the selected categories and subcategories, so it is a problem related to the theme template. What theme are you using?

    The theme is Divi.
Th plugin shows only the items in the selected category, but the filters show the full hierarchy, so the user that clicks on a parent category expects to see other products.
I would ile to hide that parent category.
Similarly, if I am in “man” and I click on “woman” I find zero products, I should not see It at all as it is not a child of “man” cat. Or, at least, I should be able to use css to let people understand it with some visual hint.

It should be easy just adding some css class to the shown categories.

    Hi there,

are you using a shortcode so the plugin don’t understand which filters was enabled. The page have the same slug of official category? If yes we can try to use this slug to force it.

Could you share with me a screenshot about the shortcode you are using, the page slug and the category slug, please?

Why you are using the shortcode instead of the standard page? Needs a customization? When possible it’s better to use the standard page instead of a customized one.
