show only parent catagories

  • How do i only show parent catagories in wordpress? I’ve tryed to call wp_list_cats() with “children=false” and “child_of=1” but none of them really helped.

  • sorry to say that i’m not yet sure how to accomplish this, but, i am also interested in this topic. I’ve tried a few of the “hacks” found in a search on this topic without success….. will post updates on status updates as i look into this.
