show/hide widget only on pages in specific category

  • This works as expected for posts when choosing to show in categories, ie it shows on posts within the chosen categories.

    However does not show on pages within those categories

    I am using the plugin Post Tags and Categories for Pages, which allows not just posts but also pages to be assigned categories

    Is this possible to get the plugin to recognise pages within categories?
