Show only first name (hide last name)

    First of all, congratulations for the great plugin! I’m currently testing it to see if this can help converts more customers.
    One question: is there a shortcode for the template that only displays the first name of the customer (or the first name + 1st letter of the last name)? Ex: “John” or “John D.”, instead of “John Doe”.

    I’m using Easy Digital Downloads, and I the first name and last name of my customers appear on two distinct lines. So this could theoretically work.

    As of now, I’m not sure this system is compliant with the regulations in Europe or in most countries around the world. I’m sure a customer wouldn’t mind that his/her first name appears in a pop up, but first name + last name might cause legal issues in some case.

    Ok, I tried my luck and using the shortcode {first_name} worked! It only displays the first name of the customer. Now I’ll try and see if I can extract just the first letter of the last name ??
