Hi,

You can make them H3 tags by using the following template tags in your theme files:

<?php the_subtitle( '<h3>', '</h3>' ); ?>

To show on home/archive pages you would need to include the above code in the relevant template files. This will depend on your theme but as a guide theme files are generally named as per this guide:
