• Hi,

I was looking for a way I can make an archive page with all the languages of a specific category.

I looked in the support forum and read that the plugin doesn’t have an “all languages” option and that you’re probably not going to add that functionality in the recent future.

However I would like to know if there’s some kind of workaround to make what I need.

I managed to make the archive list all the languages using as url
    https://www.mysite.com/de/category/category-es,category-de,category-fr,category-it/

but it doesn’t show the correct pagination for the categories, it counts only the first category number of posts, so if for example ‘category-es’ has 10 posts and ‘category-de’ has 20 and I have configured my archive to show 10 posts by page it doesn’t shows me the pagination neither the remaining posts.

I’m not sure if I’m clear enough with my problem and what I’m trying to do, english is not my mother language.

I tried to install some advanced search, taxonomy, category and archive plugins to try to find a workaround but I haven’t been lucky yet!

I would like some light in this problem, please help!

Thanks in advance for this amazing plug-in I’ve been using in multiple projects without any problems until now.

    Hello

It works with Polylang 1.7.5 and Twenty Fifteen for 2 categories “rando” and “hike”:

    pagination – 1
    pagination – 2

    /wp-dev/site17/fr/category/rando,hike/page/3/

It works if the categories are from the same language.

However if they are the same category in different languages it doesn’t do the right pagination.

I would really like to see an “All languages” option as well, for posts and categories.

I have a site where we have some announcements on the front page and posts from people in the field that don’t merit separate posts for each language. They’re basically one or two liners so the post itself can contain the translations (if that’s even necessary).

Right now I just use the default language (English) without an equivalent category in the other language so for the presentation it always pulls in the English category’s posts regardless of which language the user is in.

But it doesn’t work when you dive down in the bowels of the site like the sitemap or archives or stuff like that.

yeah I know, I really would like an option to do this, or at least a way to add some posts to a multilingual category.

I’ve been trying to do something for this and I realized that the pagination depends on the first category I post…

    If I try mysite.com/it/category/eventi,eventos,evenements,anlaesse/
it will have the pagination of the category ‘eventi’,

    If I try mysite.com/es/category/eventos,eventi,evenements,anlaesse/
It will have the pagination of ‘eventos’,

    and so on…

I really need a workaround! anyone??
