show listings for parent region when searching for any of the child regions

Hi, right now the behaviour of the plugin seems to be that when you search for the PARENT region, you see listings allocated to the PARENT as well as all the CHILD regions.
But, when you search for a CHILD region, you do not see the listings allocated to the PARENT region. Is there a way to change that behaviour?

For example, imagine you have Europe as a parent region, and within it you have Italy as one of the child regions. If a job was posted in Italy, you will see it if you search for Europe and if you search for Italy. But, if a job was posted as being in Europe, meaning it can be done from anywhere in Europe, it won’t show up when the user searches for Italy.
