Show line items on invoices

    Hi there,

    I need to show the individual line items and price of all the items purchased, for example, if a customer purchases 3 x Product A, I need it to display on the invoice as:

    Product A – Quantity 1 – ￡Price

    Product A – Quantity 1 – ￡Price

    Product A – Quantity 1 – ￡Price

    As opposed to

    Product A – Quantity 3 – ￡Price

    Is that possible via editing the PDF template?

    Hello Charlotte,
    Theoretically this is possible, but (as always), the devil is in the details. Multiplying the row by the quantity is not so difficult but adjusting the price accordingly will cause some headaches… Do you need the price to be divided by the qty too?

    Hi Ewout,

    Ideally the layout should be:

    Product A – Quantity – Unit Price – Line Price

    Unit Price = Price of 1 quantity
    Line Price = Quantity x Unit Price

    At the moment the Unit Price is missing.

    I hope this makes sense, but let me know if you need more information.

    Adding an extra column with unit price can be accomplished with our Premium Templates extension.
    That’s a lot easier than repeating the product row ??
