Show / Hide setting in Snippet preview disappeared

    The Show/Hide Date in Snippet Preview setting has suddenly disappeared & I am unable to hide the dates for my PAGES. The date of the page is now showing in my meta description which I don’t want. It was fine before .. why do I no longer have the option to hide it? ( My site is under construction, so I am unable to supply a URL)

    @leobs50 We’ve removed this option because it was leading to confusion. Many of our customers felt as if that setting would influence wether or not the date would be shown in the Google search results. In reality, it only influenced the snippet preview in Yoast SEO.

    Hi,

    As of the most recent version of the Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin (v14.7), there’s no option to remove the date in the snippet preview for products, as it is also considered as part of the post-type previews.
