• Two separate WP installs.
On one, the header and top bar are shown when editing pages with Elementor.
On the other, the header and top bar are not shown when editing pages with Elementor.

I’ve yet to find a setting anywhere to account for the different behaviour. Any suggestions?
Note: I’d prefer to have the header and top bar shown when editing pages in Elementor.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

Can you please let me know if two of the website has the same plugins and theme installed?

On the other website, where the header is not showing, kindly confirm if you are using a canvas template. When we use the canvas template on the page, the header/footer gets removed from the page; here is the article where we have explained this in detail: https://elementor.com/help/using-elementors-canvas-page-template/

If the page has a default template and still facing the same issue, then kindly try deactivating all the plugin except Elementor and see if this solves the issue.

Same question here. Except that I have this on the same site…!

Ie when in edit mode; On all but one page I don’t see the header and footer, but on one page I do see the header and footer.

I always want to see the header and footer while editing, how do I do that?
