Show filters only on page of certain category

  • Is it possible to create the filter in a side area for widgets that is on on theme, but only have that filter visible when products from a certain category are viewed? So when a certain category is viewed. In our case, the COUPONS category.

    Now the filters show up on the indiviual product pages, and we dont know how to change this

    Hi there,

    If you want to create a different set of filters based on product category you should create different presets, one for each category, and then check if your theme has the ability to set a sidebar for each product category.

    If yes, you can add the correct preset in each category.

    If not, you need a plugin like?this.

    With this plugin, you can show/hide the filter preset widget dynamically. You have to put the YITH Ajax Filters Preset widget in a sidebar, select the preset and in the Settings (Gear icon)>Logic field enter this code:

    In this example, I have added the Extra Preset only for the category with slug extra.

    Then the preset will be shown in the Extra category.
