Show filename during hover/pause or all the time?

The slideshow appears to work, although I don’t seem to be able to get the title or filename to display. It would be useful if when the user hovers over the slideshow it would display a name. Even better would be a title or filename visible all the time.
Is there something in the configuration to turn this on, or is there a reasonably straightforward way for me to modify a bit of php or css code to do this.
