I’m in LOVE with this plugin. It’s exactly what I wanted, and needs more press. This is gorgeous. Thank you!

The only thing I can see that I need, is to find a way to display the description on the series grid. It would help my readers decide if they want to read that series. It says it doesn’t display by default on some themes. Is there a way to force it to be prominent?

Also, when I click on my series, the title in the browser tab says “Test”. How do I change that? It should show the series name.

Glad to hear the Mooberry Book Manager is helpful for you!

What you’re asking for is coming in version 3.0 (which is currently in testing), but only if you’ve upgraded to WordPress 4.4 or higher. WordPress 4.4 adds a new feature to WordPress that makes this possible.

Mooberry Book Manager 3.0 will actually add two fields for each of the taxonomies (series, genre, tag, editor, illustrator, and cover artist) — one for text to display above the grid and one for text to display below.

The reason this will be used instead of the description is because the fields will have the formatting toolbar available for you, so that you can make your text pretty too. The description field that comes default with WordPress doesn’t offer that.

Yes, it should show the series name.

    What are your permalink settings?

Can you post a link to your site?

Can you post the link where you are seeing “Test” for the series name?

When I go to https://jenniferamriss.com/series/kok/ it says “Kings of Kal’brath Series”

Never mind. I re-read your post and you said browser tab. I will look into this for version 3 for sure. Thanks!

Oh, okay! Thanks! I’ll be looking for it. ??

Also, how do you get rid of the “Read More” link at the bottom of the grids? There’s nothing more to read, and links back to the home page.

That must be coming from your theme….

Figured out the read more bit. Had to remove the code for it from the “loop.php” since I don’t use it. Thanks for letting me know it was the theme!
