Show content in custom page template

Hi.

Theme i am using have custom page templates, such as default – blog – portfolio – contact – etc…

When i select portfolio page template, it hides the content that i put into the content box, on page editor of wordpress.

I need to display something on top of the portfolio page template. But it shows nothing.

Any suggestions?
