Show content from category inside language homepage

  • I have an English site and different content for each language, so when I go to
    mysite.com/fr there′s no content, because posts in English are not translated yet.

    Is there a way to have a category named say “French”, and show all content inside that category in the language homepage URL (mysite.com/fr)?

  • That doesn’t make sense, you should translate the content with Polylang instead trying to fetch it from main language.

    I know it does not make sense to you… but for my site the content is different depending on the language> Pages are translated, but posts are different depending on the language… so instead of having a translated article I have a native language written article… and I have different categories for different languages… so I want to show those articles in the homepage…. is there a way?

    You can change a post language to desired language (use the dropdown in post editing view) and you don’t have to create translations if you don’t need them.
