I checked and this is happening on other social media too, so the issue is not exclusive to Facebook.

Usually, this issue happens when the social media platform is having trouble reading the description in the expected format. To help fix this, a couple of steps might be needed:

1. Check Product Description: Ensure the product description doesn’t contain any HTML or CSS code that could be interfering with the display on social media.
2. Metadata Optimization: Verify that the metadata of your site and product pages are correctly set up. This includes meta tags, specifically the og:description tag, which is responsible for the description displayed when shared on social media.

If all is correct in that front, there might be a plugin or theme conflict.

To test, you’ll first want to change the theme on your site to Storefront, then check to see if the issue is still present. If that resolves the issue, you’ll want to get in touch with your theme’s developer and see if they have an update or fix for you.

If changing the theme doesn’t help, you’ll want to deactivate all plugins except for WooCommerce and take a look. If that fixes the problem, re-enable the other plugins one by one (gradually), checking after each, to see where the issue is coming from.

Just to be sure, did you already have a chance to test with having only the WooCommerce plugin active (all the rest temporarily disabled), and the TT4 theme as is, and see how if the issue persists, or otherwise?

Regarding these errors, they are coming from the following plugin: Fastware WebP/AVIF.

Thanks for confirming that you are not currently using Fastware WebP/AVIF. Were you able to test the site with only the WooCommerce plugin and a default theme like Storefront?
As for site speed, you could have your site transferred to WordPress.com and there, you will only have to worry about building your site as they will be able to handle any technical issue and help troubleshoot the site easier for any issues with your store.

Coming back to the issue of HTML characters appearing on social sharing.
After looking at the source of your website, I found that the Meta Tags that are used to feed information to Facebook are generated incorrectly.
