Show child categories only when selected

Filter show only children categories on category pages. This case URL is product-category/printers

Sorry,
I will use https://demo.products-filter.com for the next example.

When i enter this page https://demo.products-filter.com/?swoof=1&product_cat=man
I would like to see the parent category “Clothings” already opened under the “Product categories” filter so the selected category is visible.

i prefer to use https://demo.products-filter.com/?swoof=1&product_cat=man instead of https://demo.products-filter.com/product-category/clothing/ to link to category because i want the user to roam the entire shop all the time.

Edit: I know there’s an option (“Hide childs in checkboxes and radio” on No) to show all the child but it would be too long for my shop.

Changing the .js didn’t modify the behaviour.

The child list is visible only if it was selected before

for example if i go to:
https://demo.products-filter.com/?swoof=1&product_cat=man

• the child categories are hidden
• i click on the plus sign
• refresh the page
• now child categories are visible

I made a little script that find if there’s the class checked and open the category list.
It would be great if this plugin will implement this feature in the next releases.
