show categories in a dropdown menu

    I am a total noob at wordpress and im trying to figure out how to include a dropdown menu which has all the categories inside it to a post. Is this possible in wordpress ?

  • Hi there,

    Is there a sidebar available in your post layout? Most themes have sidebar where you can add widgets. WordPress provides a widget called “Categories”. If there is a sidebar available you can drop this widget in the sidebar and then check the option “Display as dropdown”.
