Show caption fails

    Hello – I have just installed Easy Photo Album to test.

    If I add images to an album, the images show fine and there is a box for a title but no description/caption for further information.

    I want to be able to add a title and description for images in an album but cannot see how to do it.

    If I go to Settings | Media
    Put a check in ‘Show the caption in the album edit screen’ box
    Click save changes

    The screen appears to refresh but the check box is clear again.

    Any help appreciated.

    I see that it is possible to add more text to the title box, but the size of the text box does not make it easy to make edits because if I paste in:

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit. Aenean commodo ligula eget dolor. Aenean massa. Cum sociis natoque penatibus et magnis dis parturient montes, nascetur ridiculus mus.

    …the text box for title only shows:

    Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consecte

    Is it possible to change settings to display and format (e.g. paragraph) more text than just a short title?

    The title should be short, so is the text box. But as you can see in a reply in your other question, the title field isn’t the correct field. That will be solved in the next release.

    For now, I’ve fixed this bug in the development version. WARNING: the development version isn’t always stable!

    Thank you. I appreciate the fast feedback and your efforts.

    I am new to WordPress and have been struggling to find a photo album package that does what I want. So, I’ve looked at half a dozen plug-ins, and so far, I have to say I like yours the most. Very much looking forward to seeing the next update.
