    Hi FileBird Folks,
I am using PHP Version 8.2.15, WordPress Version 6.5.4, and FileBird Lite Version 6.2.5, and I wanted to alert you about a potential bug with the FileBird Lite plugin. The issue is the “Show breadcrumb” setting (available from WP Dashboard –> FileBird –> Settings) is not persisting between users.

Here are the steps to reproduce (please note these steps assume there are multiple users and FileBird Lite is installed on the site):
    1) Log into WordPress using User 1 credentials –>
    2) Navigate to WP Dashboard –> FileBird –> Settings –>
    3) Check “Show breadcrumb” and click “Save Changes” –>
    4) Log Out User 1 –>
    5) Log into WordPress using User 2 credentials –>
    6) Navigate to WP Dashboard –> FileBird –> Settings –>
RESULT: Notice the User 1 “Show breadcrumb” setting does not hold for User 2.

Could you please advise if this is intentional behavior or if it’s something that will be addressed in future versions?

Thanks very much, and please let me know if you need additional information.

    Best regards,
    Matthew Huntley

    Hi @matthewdhuntley ,

    Thanks for coming here today.

While I check this case with our team, can you please confirm that all the users you were testing with are all with the “Admin role” ?

    Regards,
    Bruce

    Hello @matthewdhuntley

    Good morning!

The “breadcrumb” setting for each user is not a global setting, FYI.
