Show both future and past events

    By default, “The Events Calendar” shows only “Future” events. I want to be able to show “Past” events so that visitors get a flavor of what my client teaches. I found only a single thread in which someone stumbled on how to do this, but there were no details on exactly what he added or which file(s) he edited.

    This is such an obvious feature I’m surprised it’s not a standard setting option. Can anyone share with me the “secret” for how to pull this off?

    Thanks for reaching out!

    We don’t have an out-of-the-box option for doing this, but it could be done by setting up a custom template and utilizing tribe_get_events() — we have a cool tutorial that explains how to use this function.
