Show Bitcoin Altcoin balance in frontend

Hi,

There’s three ways to show user balances:

1. Use the [wallets_balance] shortcode.

2. Use the respective balances widget in your theme’s widget area. Go to Appearance -> Widgets to do that.

3. Add the special menu item provided in Appearance -> Menus -> Bitcoin and Altcoin Wallets balances.

[wallets_balance] shows a drop box to choose one coin. Can i show the value of one coin by default.
The balance it shows is it my balance or the balance of the person who has logged in?

I also want to know if there is any short code to show the live value of the coins in the page.

1. There is currently no way to show the balance of only one coin. The wallet displays the balances of all enabled coin adapters. If only one coin is enabled, the dropdown is not shown. I will add your request to the backlog.

2. The balances shown are indeed the balances of the current user.

3. There is currently no shortcode to display the exchange rate data, but I do intend to add one in the near future.

Im not able to make the widgets visible in the side menu

OK, what have you tried?

Menus and widgets are two different things in WordPress.

You can add a widget to a widget area only if your theme provides a widget area.

You can add the balances menu item into one of your WordPress menus and then you will have to display that menu in one of the menu areas in your theme.

You can give it a try with a standard theme like twentyseventeen first to make sure that the problem is not with your theme.

Also, check the troubleshooting section in the PDF manual for other reasons why the UIs may not show.

Im sorry i was about to remove the ping here. i has not given permission for subscribers to manage the wallets that was the error. Now i have cleared it. Thanks for your support.

Do not give the manage_wallets permission to anyone other than the administrator(s). Only give the other permissions to regular users such as subscribers (has_wallets is the permission that controls whether you can maintain wallet balances)

I have not given manage_wallet permission

Give manage_wallets ONLY to administrators.

Give has_wallets to all user roles that should be able to use wallets.

Hi,

We tried depositing money using the QR code and the address. But i dont see transactions anywhere. I need some support here please.

I see that when scanning the QR code the money is being deposited into the admin account. How to make the user deposit the coins into his own account?

Now that i have balance in coinpayments wallet(admin). I should be able to see the balance in the [wallets_balance] right. which im not able to see.
