Show alternate page

Judging by your current theme, you’ll need to manually add it to your nav menu. or see Creating_a_Static_Front_Page.

Adding it isn’t a problem, I’m designing the theme for the site, but I can’t figure out how to show the page. I created a copy of home.php and renamed it home_season1.php

Assuming that home_season1.php is a custom page template, you’ll need to apply the template to your chosen Page and then add a hard coded link to that Page to your nav menu.

I was looking for something totally different and came across the ability to use custom category pages, so I did it that way.

Thanks for the help, I’ll check out the applying the template stuff, I’m always looking for new things I can play with in WordPress (and never run out of them).
