Show also when out of stock, but allowed to order

    Hello!

    I have my shop set so that even though a product is out of stock, the customer is allowed to order it. The product is backordered I think its called.
    But I would love an option to have the option for an alert shown even if the product in this case isn’t shown as “out of stock”, but “backordered”.

    They maybe don’t want to order it right now, since it’s out of stock, even though they can, but would be interested in getting an email when the product is back in stock.

    Thanks for your support. It looks like you tried to implement it, but its not working as it should.
    I’ve enabled the plugin, and enabled to use on backorders, but I have to also set the “Stock status” to “Out of Stock” for it to work. But I want it to be “In stock” since otherwise it will give the option to get an alert even if it shows that the product is still in stock.

    I don’t know if that makes sence, but let’s say you have 1 item in stock, but you don’t show how many there are, just if it’s in stock or out of stock.
    So, it shows in stock.
    If the setting for Stock Status is set to “Out of stock” the alert-message will show even if there is in stock.

    If I change the Stock status to “In stock” the alert-message won’t show even if its out of stock.

    I would like it if you read the number of items for the product, and that it doesn’t depend on the “Stock Status” setting, if you know what I mean.

    Any update on this matter?
    The plugin is of no use for me as it is right now, and it would be great if you could change the way it reads if a product is out of stock or not, by reading the number of items in stock. If zero or less, then its out of stock, and the message and alert-button should show.

    Last update made a great progress, but when I tried it I instantly got a mail saying it was in stock right after I subscribed. Of course it wasn’t.

    As I said before, I think you must read the number of items in stock, and if it’s more than zero it’s in stock, if it’s zero or less, it’s out of stock.

    Not sure if my issue is a part of the same problem, but this plugin has worked fine for a few weeks, now all of a sudden the out of stock alert box appears for all products, whether they are in o out of stock.
