Hello, is there a way to use a shortcode to display an archive of all the foo galleries that have been created without installing the album plugin? I’m wanting to:

    • use single-image galleries to open up slide shows of more images, preferably in a grid.
    • Have multiple single-image galleries on one page with that functionality
    • Not set up an album whereby people click on thumbnails to go to another page to view the gallery in question. They should stay on the same page to view all galleries.

The only way I could figure out how to do this is to set up block columns and insert shortcodes into the columns one by one. But this will get tedious especially when a more recent gallery needs to be inserted. The older galleries will need to be ‘pushed down’ (so to speak) when a new gallery is ready to be published. If this can’t be automated like an archive, then I’ll have to manually copy and paste the shortcodes all over again when a new gallery is ready to be published.

Is there a solution for this? I tried to search for one and couldn’t find it…sorry if I missed it.

    Hi @joycegrace

To answer your initial question, it is possible to use a shortcode to display all or select FooGallery galleries at once, but using the Albums feature.

FooGallery does come with the Albums feature that you can easily activate when you navigate to FooGallery -> Features -> Albums and create albums using your current FooGallery galleries that you can add to your pages. Here’s a simple guide that explains more about this feature: https://fooplugins.com/documentation/foogallery/getting-started-foogallery/adding-albums/

Based on what you explained you want to implement, those all can be achieved by our album feature. I recommend using the “All In One Stack Album” layout.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.
