Sorry for the post, the info is in the blog.

    It’s not possible.

I don’t undestand why all the plugins of buddypress are user-profile oriented. Gallery, photos, videos, buddydrive files… It’s not possible to create a community with shared content if all the content is on the members profile…

Ok, this is my point of view…

mmm, BuddyPress is first focused on users. This plugin’s goal is to let users in their dedicated area share files. I’m sorry it doesn’t match with your need.

Hope you’ll find the plugin you’re looking for.

    Thanks for your feedback.

After installing and uninstalling a lot of plugins…. Your plugin is the best to share files.

What do you thing about a future “page” or slug/shorcode to list all the files?

    Thanks for your attention!

Thanks again for your feedback. I may change my mind, but for now, i’m not sure it’s a good idea. I built this plugin based on my use of Dropbox, and i never needed a page that listed all DropBox users public files. But i often shared folders with friends… What i like is being in control, files are in my BuddyDrive and i decide as a user if i share it with friends, a password, a group..

    One more question please.

It’s possible to let the members upload files only to a defined group?

If I have the possibility to do this, I can create a file sharing section on a group.

    Thanks again for your attention.

If only one group activated BuddyDrive, yes.

But, It’s possible to disable the upload from profile and only let upload files from the group? Or let upload from profile only to the group…

Thanks again for your attention and support

I think everything is possible… But you’ll need to hack the code. There’s a lot of javascript in this part of the plugin. I’m sorry, i don’t want this plugin to be consider as a substitute to BP Group Documents. The plugin is first focused on users, group is one of its privacy option.
