Show adsense ad between post content

Hi,

I want to add an adsense link unit ad between content on single post pages without using a plugin.

I know how to use theme dynamic sidebar, add the php code to single.php and then control the ad content through the widget.

But I’ve want to know where actually I need to add the code to display the ad between the post content, in middle or say after a para or two.
