Show 3rd Level Menu on Panel

    Hi! I’m trying out the Mega Menu on my staging site and I have a couple of questions. Please refer to “TEST” on my Header as the point of discussion.

    1. Can Mega Menu support GIF? Instead of the traditional photo via the Image Widget, can I place a GIF there instead?
    2. How do I remove the bullet points on the 2nd level menu on the panel?
    3. Bridal under Test has sub-menus as well. How do I make the 3rd level menu appear on the panel under Bridal?
    4. Is it possible to enable Mega Menu on desktop only and the default menu on mobile devices?

    Thanks so much for your help! So far, I’m having a good experience experimenting on Mega Menu. I just couldn’t quite figure out the stuff I mentioned above. Thanks again for your help in advance! ??

    Hi Maria,

    1. I think the standard image widget should support gifs. It looks like you’ll need to select the “Full size” option in the image widget settings: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-animated-gifs-in-wordpress/
    2. That looks like a custom menu widget, in which case it picks up the default widget styling (MMM does not apply it’s own styling to widgets displayed inside the mega menu – the widget is fully responsible for styling itself). So you would need to use custom CSS to adjust the styling of that list. Or you could remove the Menu widget and replicate what you have done for the “BRIDAL” section under “Shop”.
    3. I am not seeing a Bridal section under test, but I do see it under “Shop” and I see the 3rd level items displayed there.
    4. It is not sorry. I see 2 mobile toggle buttons on your mobile menu, to fix that please see: https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/i-see-two-mobile-toggle-buttons/. Or you might want to use a totally different plugin for your mobile menu, in which case please see: https://www.megamenu.com/documentation/configuring-mobile-menu-plugins/

    1. The Image Widget worked with a gif file, thanks! ??

    2. The reason why I used a custom menu under “Test” was that I needed to have only the image widget on the right-most column, and the menu on the first two columns on the left. That’s possible with custom menu. Here’s what it looks like when I replicated “Bridal” under Shop: https://staging.piagladysperey.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/09/GIF.png

    How do I remove the huge space under Long Dresses, move Bridal right underneath Long Dresses and move Evening Wear to the first column? Ideally, the gif file should be the only widget on the right column.

    Hi Maria,

    2. Sorry, I misunderstood that bit earlier. Is not possible right now – you’d need to go back to using a single widget which lists all of those items in one go. I’m working on a grid layout for the mega menus which will let you do what you want (https://screencast.com/t/BMwQIWJ3lMK) but it’s a couple of weeks (maybe a month or 2) away yet.
