    Might try your plugin, but should we first optimize our images before uploading? In other words, just for example, suppose I have a 1mb image, should I compress it as best as possible before uploading through wpsmush? Or is it better to upload the full size image and let wpsmush do all the optimizing?

    Depends on your preference, If you can then please do optimise the original image, but for optimising rest of the image sizes that are created by WordPress, you’ll need WP Smush.

    That way you’ll get the best possible optimisation and lower page load time.
