Regarding WordPress SEO (Search Engine Optimization) I wanted to ask whether or not the focus keyword should be a word that is already or directly within the content?

For example if my page is titled “Asia Properties” and or my website is called Asia properties, can my focus keyword be ‘real estate agents’ or does it have to be “Asia properties”???

    Thanks!

  • Firstly it is widely accepted that putting keywords in header meta-data fields is so poorly rated by google (and others) that many people don’t even bother. This meta-data is too easily faked. Apparently it has been like this for years now.

Still, if you want to persist, then the best advice is to make the keywords honor the page content.
