Well, you can use the preloader option but if you have a really large website, I will suggest not to use it. The preloader sends requests via cURL and CF system is now quite smart and many times it doesn’t cache items when requests are coming via cURL.

    Hey iSaumya,
    Thanks!
Well, my website is an educational website, with new content being added regularly. So one may say it’s a large website (or may be in future) in terms of content/data.
So based on the recommendation, I’ll keep the Preloader option OFF for now.
As I mentioned earlier, I used the video to set the plugin. Is there any other setting(s) I need to turn ON/OFF?

Yah! Keep it off else it will overload your server sending that many requests. I personally don’t use it but if you want you can play with it and see it yourself.

Right. I’ll keep the Preloader option disabled for now.
If I need to clear the full cache. Then what should be the sequence of doing it. First clear the Cloudflare cache and then clear cache in Super Page Cache for Cloudflare plugin? Or is it the other way around?
Secondly, do I need to turn ON/OFF some specific setting(s) in the plugin?

    Hi,
When you clear cache from the plugin it will auto clear the Cloudflare cache. There is no need for you to manually clearing cache from CF dashbaord.

Also, the out-of-the-box default settings are best optimized, you generally don’t need to tinker with the settings.

    Thanks iSaumya!
    I’ll keep the default settings.
Lastly, after activating the plugin. I’m starting to see ?swcfpc=1 at the end of the URLs while in the editor mode. What does that mean?

That’s a cache buster. If you are an advanced user, you can use this system to disable cache buster: https://gist.github.com/isaumya/af10e4855ac83156cc210b7148135fa2

I’m not an advanced user. So, what should i do with this. Keep it as it is or disable it from the plugin settings?
If I have to disable it how can I do that?

If you are comfortable adding the cache rule yourself, then go ahead and use it.

    Hey iSaumya,
Since I’m not an advanced user and also not comfortable adding the cache rule myself, so should I let the Cache buster enabled as it is.
No need to disable it. Right?

    Plugin Contributor iSaumya

    (@isaumya)

Yes @formanite22, if you are comfortable adding the cache rules, keep the cache buster enabled.

    (@formanite22)

Right. I’ll keep the cache buster enabled for now.
    Thanks for the help!

@formanite22 If you use an image optimization tool like Converter for Media plugin (free or Pro) with a CF Pro account, or FREE CF account along with an active CF speed optimization feature “Rocket Loader” (check it does not break anything on the frontend. Use incognito mode to load a page without the ?swcfpc=1?) then in this plugin’s Cache tab, scroll down to “Overwrite the cache-control header for WordPress’s pages using web server rules” and set to “NO”.

    Hi @mobizma,

    1. If u are using a CF Pro plan, then you really don’t need an image optimization plugin as Cloudflare Polish will take care of your image optimization.
    2. Unless you are having some response header issue which you are unable to resolve in any other way, you really don’t need to enable the Overwrite the cache-control header for WordPress’s pages using web server rules option.

I have question about Preloader: can I preload only some URLs?
