We have a question, does SVI PRO override the image set in the default WooCommerce variation image field?

We have two attributes: color and model. For each model, we have a gallery of different images. Then for each pair model/color we have a specific image to display the color.

Can we manage this configuration with a variation for each model and color and using the default WooCommerce variation image field to set the color image, and then use SVI PRO to manage the gallery images each model?

We tried configuring it like that but then when changing the variations on the frontend only the gallery is updating properly but not the main image.

    Hello,

SVI has no use for the default WooCommerce variation image field fields so they are not used.

Images are set and the variations are set building the respective galleries, the first image in the gallery will be the first one showed.
Also you can build whatever combination you want. You build the galleries according to what you expect to see.
Of course you must be careful so that variations don’t overlap each other.

For PRO support please use the ticket system provided on my site.

The support works, Lisbon, Portugal time zone form 9am to 6pm. I\’m not here full-time so please be patient, I will try my best to help you out as much as I can.

    Cheers,
    David
